PAUL RIDDLE

Paul “Pretty Boy” Riddle began his collegiate athletic career as the president of the UNL Boxing Club.  He eventually met Roger Menze from the rugby team during a Club Sports Council Meeting.  It took just one practice, along with a little convincing from Vince, and the rest is history.

He has played rugby for 30 years and began his career in the late 80’s and early 90’s as a backline and wing player with UNL, but later converted positions to hooker and loose head prop with the GOATS and Dallas Harlequins.  Despite his many high-level men’s club games played, his favorite memory took place throughout various Cornhusker State Games where he, along with many former UNL teammates continued the legend that was the “Flying Elvi,” who dominated many State Games as they did in years prior.

Paul and his wife Jenn live in Texas and have three children and one grandson named Jace. He owns “ON Magazine” and ad agency and promises an UNL rugby article in the future!
