“The second Hall of Fame Class we had the honor of inducting at the renewed annual banquet last weekend was this year’s inductees. Gentlemen who have served KC Rugby on and off the field and are well deserving of this recognition.

The second inductee into the 2021 class was none other than Brian ‘Chico’ Cichello, club #9521.

Chico picked up rugby after playing football at K-State, and never looked back. Joining City in ’95 and played throughout the backline. After a stint overseas Brian returned and continued playing.

Brian served as President from 2001-04. Won the Robert Rinehart Award in 2012, and currently serves as the VP of Rugby Operations. Where he has been responsible for the huge up-tick in Alumni participation and match-day activities.

We wouldn’t be the club we are today him.
